change

Earth rolled her shoulders
Adjusting the mantle
And everything changed

Deserts that have swallowed my tears
Steep hills where I’ve stumbled
Deep crevasses of rock that have held me captive

Tectonic

Roads I’ve traveled
Fields that have welcomed my bare toes
Broad trees that have sheltered me

Shift

My landscape foreign
Familiar
Changed

I really like this Rachel- don't know if you wrote it or someone else did but it is REALLY GOOD! I totally relate!
